Hate and Fear.

Hate and fear lead people to engage in such horrific acts of senseless violence.

Hate and fear are such deep poisons that poison our hearts and minds until we become a weapon we deploy against others.

Hate and fear lead us to strip away the humanity of others.

Hate and fear demolish.

Hate and fear destroy all of us.

How we still have so much hate and fear in 2022? How we still manage to have so much hate and fear for anything that differs from us in any way?

I don’t understand why we continue to let hate and fear have so much power over us. I don’t understand why we let hate and fear distort so much, why we are so willing to unleash their destructive powers.

In a world where we could choose love and radical acceptance, why so many still choose to chain themselves to hate and fear—I don’t understand it.

I’m glad I don’t understand it.

Hate and fear should have no place here. And yet, hate and fear still hold all the space here.

Hate and fear.

Hate and fear.

Hate and fear.

One day, we’ll banish you.

One day, we’ll eradicate you.

One day, we’ll transcend you.
